Today I will be revealing what I made with the yummy products included in my #HelloFlavour Voxbox from Influenster
What is Influenster and How Can I Get a Voxbox?
Influenster is a product review site where they send members (it’s free to join; you can sign up here!) voxboxes with free products to review in return for their honest opinion on the products received.
What did I Receive?
I received (from left to right) French’s Original Caesar Mix, Club House: Poutine Gravy, Premium Artificial Vanilla Extract, Maple Bacon Seasoning and Caesar Rim.
What Did I Make?
I made a delicious Unicorn Smoothie using Club House Premium Artificial Vanilla Extract, Almond Milk, frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, frozen mango, frozen banana, benefiber, Genuine Health protein powder, and Gay Lea Coconut whip cream. ➡️ To view the full recipe, please watch the YouTube Video above.
This smoothie tasted delicious and reminded me of cake batter. I highly recommend this recipe and recommend adding spinach or kale to make the recipe more nutritious.
To make the poutine, I threw French Fries into the oven and began cooking the Club House Poutine Gravy. To make the gravy, I added water to the mix and heated it on the stove. The gravy tasted delicious plain. Unfortunately, the recipe I was following advised me to add steak spice to the gravy and this made it way too salty. If you make this recipe, I would advise you to leave the gravy as is.
When the fries were done, I added the gravy on top of the french fries and topped the fries with daiya mozzarella / Cheddar shreds, vegan ranch dressing (I would switch this to a vegan sour cream instead, since it made the dish too tangy), crumbled bacon and green onion. I think if you follow my adjustments, the original recipe will taste much better. To finish this recipe, I paired it with quinoa chicken.
Maple Bacon Corn:
To make the maple bacon corn, all you have to do is: remove the corn husks, add some margarine to each cob of corn and wrap each cob of corn in aluminum foil. Then you cook the cobs of corn on the barbecue using a low temperature. When the corn is cooked, shake some Club House Maple Bacon Seasoning onto each corn of cob (*this might not be gluten free due to the molasses).
My family really liked this recipe. If you don’t have a gluten allergy or intolerance, I would recommend you try this spice.
True North Caesar:
The Caesar recipe was amazing! They were really easy to make and tasted delicious. I started by creating the caesar rim. Please watch my YouTube Video or read the recipe to learn the steps to create the rim. Next, I mixed French’s Original Caesar Cocktail Mix with vodka, sea salt peppercorn, and cayenne pepper. Afterwards, I added celery, crisp bacon and olives for aesthetics and some added flavour.
